ZILART in the City: international public art competition

August 3 – September 30

For the first time, this year the II ARTMOSSPHERE Biennale of Street Art and the ZILART arts district are offering artists the opportunity to go beyond facades to the dimension of city streets and squares by means of sculptures, art objects and installations.

ZILART in the City is an open public art competition sponsored by the LSR Group development company as part of the II ARTMOSSPHERE Biennale of Street Art. Russian and foreign artists, sculptors and architects who work confidently with the urban context in the genres of sculpture, installation and art object are invited to participate. The winner will get a prize of 2 thousand euros and installation of the object.

The competition launches on August 1 and will take place in two stages — this fall, at Zilara Hall on Avtozavodskaya, there will be an exhibition and presentation of the best short-listed designs, and in spring-summer 2017 the best of the proposed designs (from 1 to 3 of them), will be installed in Moscow urban spaces. Both artists and jury experts will propose locations for the art works.

Send the projects till September 30 to the address:
